This page says what happens to your data when you visit tendto.one. The short version: not much, and analytics only if you agree to it.

Who is responsible

What the server sees anyway

Every request leaves a line in the host's server log: IP address, time, the address you asked for, your browser string. No website runs without that, and the lines are deleted after a short while. The site also sets two technically necessary cookies that keep strangers from posting the contact form. They hold nothing about you and expire after two hours. Your language sits in the address, so there is no cookie for it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages get read. The script only loads once you agree in the bar at the edge of the page: before that, no request goes to Google and no cookie is set for it. If you agree, Google Ireland Limited processes the data and it may be transferred to the United States. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you decline, nothing happens and the site works exactly the same.

Contact form

When you write to us through the form we store your name, e-mail address, the name of your house and your message, and we send the same details to our mailbox. We use them to reply and for nothing else: no sharing, no newsletter you did not ask for. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. If the enquiry does not become a contract, we delete it after a year.

The app behind the login

Inside the app, houses work with their guests' data. There we are not the controller but the house's processor, on the basis of a data processing agreement. If you booked with a house and want to know what it holds about you, ask the house; we are not allowed to hand it over ourselves.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold, have it corrected or deleted, restrict the processing and object to it. A message to hallo@holgerlentz.com is enough, no form needed. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the data protection commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Take your consent back

Your decision about analytics lives in your browser, not with us. Take it back here and the bar will ask again.
